"Lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all." - Ephesians 4: 1b-6
Food Freedom Group
Do you struggle with issues with food? Does it feel like food in some ways has an unhealthy hold on your life? Are you someone who has struggled with the question if you might be addicted to food?
First Presbyterian Church is offering a virtually led group that is meeting at 7pm on Sundays. We have used “Satisfied: A 90-Day Spiritual Journey to Food Freedom” by Dr. Rhona Epstein. We welcome anyone who wants to work on issues related to an unhealthy relationship with food.
Rev Jeromey Howard, a food addict, will be leading this group. If anyone is interest in taking part in this journey that will be opened up to the entire Hudson River Presbytery and ANYONE who would like to join, please have them reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org or register below.
